Discovery of skiing and the Three Valleys

Originally from the Ardèche, I am not from the high alpine mountains. But, as a child, I used to go on ski vacations every winter and I took lessons in ski school. I have always loved skiing, and this, from a very young age.

Concerning my background, passionate about all sports in general, I wanted to enter a boarding school at the Collège Sport Nature in the Vercors. In winter, we had one day a week dedicated to an alpine or cross-country skiing trip, supervised by local instructors. What a pleasure! Very quickly, I understood that I wanted to work in the mountains, always with this vital need to be in the open air (in the summer, I am an instructor of sailing, wakeboarding and water activities). Then, I joined a Mountain Professions High School in Haute-Savoie, which prepared me for the State Ski Instructor Certificate. In winter, we had several weeks of training in ESF, on half-seasons. It was cool! Supervised by a qualified instructor, I accompanied him during his lessons and this allowed me to acquire the basics of the profession and to improve my technique.

Two years later, in 2009, I was admitted to the UCPA Training Institute for the preparation of the State Diploma. You benefit from a very complete training (technical training, pedagogy, knowledge of the environment, organization of lessons...) and you accompany qualified instructors during their lessons. I learned everything there is to know and acquired a solid professional experience! I was a ski instructor in UCPA centers, during 11 seasons, in Tignes, les 2 Alpes, La Plagne, La Norma and Val Thorens in the Three Valleys.

Why Val Thorens ? There is everything here! Quality snow, a beautiful environment with beautiful views, special and hidden corners as well as good off-piste spots accessible to all (change of scenery guaranteed!) that I now know very well. It is the biggest ski area in the world including the 3 Valleys. In addition, it is a resort that moves well. It's really a pleasure to teach skiing there! And Val Thorens has just been crowned "Best resort in the world", a dream!

I am 30 years old and I have the chance to teach my passion, for all levels (from beginner to expert), to children, teenagers or adults. I am a good teacher, I know how to find the best way to teach each one and I have in heart to transmit and share my knowledge of the ski and the mountain, by putting in confidence my customers, so that each session of lesson is a real pleasure for them, with beautiful feelings and in full safety. And with a smile!
